Bluebarn Elsie is a jet black beauty with a long flowing mane and tail. She has the most adorable desire to please her handler and although she is one of our foundation broodmares, we started her under saddle, where she has proven to have a careful and responsive attitude to work. Elise came to us from a breeder based in Stafford, England, as an unhandled yearling. She was quick to learn and even faster to work out where the treats are! Her sire is Tarbarl Matthew, a well-known Supreme Champion and finalist at both Horse of The Year Show and London Olympia International, the United Kingdom's most prestigious shows. When she isn't caring for a foal, Elsie will also be representing Raycroft Stud at our open days, so keep an eye out for this real-life black beauty.
